Maria Padilla

Dr. Padilla is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. She is the Director of the Advanced Lung /Interstitial Lung Disease Program and the Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is also involved in the Sarcoidosis Service and the adult Cystic Fibrosis program. She is a consultant to other transplant programs at our institution, and is also the principal investigator of clinical research projects. Dr. Padilla specializes in the treatment of diffuse interstitial lung diseases, including idiopathic interstital pneumonia, acute interstital pneumonia, lymphocytic interstital pneumonia, non-specific interstital pneumonia, organizing pneumonia, bronchiollitis obliterans, and hypersensitivity pneumonia.
