Dr. Ver Steeg matriculated into Northwestern University Medical School in 1997. Dr. Ver Steeg completed a five year residency in General Surgery at Kansas University Medical Center. He received extensive training in trauma surgery, cancer surgery, transplant surgery and minimally invasive surgery. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ver Steeg then completed an additional two years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Louisville. Dr. Ver Steeg also received extensive training in cosmetic surgery.
