Gerald Pitman

Dr. Gerald H. Pitman is one of the most respected plastic surgeons in America. His landmark plastic surgery textbook, published in 1993, established him as an authority in the field of plastic surgery and attracted legions of patients to his New York City private office. After graduating from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine, Dr. Pitman completed a five-year residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia Division). General surgery training was followed by a plastic surgery residency and fellowship in microsurgery at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Pitman was certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery following completion of his training.
