Her training includes 5 years of general surgery, 1 year of burn surgery, 3 years of plastic and reconstructive surgery, and 1 additional fellowship year concentrating exclusively on breast and cosmetic surgery. While her training makes her facile in all aspects of plastic surgery, her main interests are in breast and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Buck's current interests are in: all facets of plastic surgery, especially breast augmentation, lifting, and reconstruction. She also has a strong interest in facial procedures, including facelifts and blepharoplasties (eyelid surgery).
