He completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Louisville in 2000 as well as a General Surgery residency at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Tierney is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His current memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Tierney's surgical interests include face rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast enhancement. Reconstruction for cancer is a rewarding part of his practice.
