He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He remained in Galveston where he received his plastic surgery training at the recognized UTMB Department of Surgery. Dr. Snyder is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons. Dr. Snyder’s passion is for autologous breast reconstruction, he is the original DIEP surgeon in the Austin area. He specializes in DIEP flaps and microsurgical breast reconstruction.
